HOLISTICALLY SUPPORT REVITALIZATION

We holistically support the revitalization of the Palace and Park Complex in Siemianowice Śląskie, engaging on many levels in the regeneration of the entire ecosystem of this unique place. We work with the community and for the community, thanks to which and with whom we can explore our experience in the design and implementation of solutions dedicated to the specificity of revitalized areas. In the approach we propose, we draw from areas such asregenerative and speculative design, inclusive and participatory design, as well as learning through experience, testing and feedback.

DEVELOPMENT AND DESIGN PROGRAMS

Since 2018, we have been implementing comprehensive development and design programs, dedicated to people who want to deepen their self-awareness, as well as leadership and design competences in the field of implementing changes that we want to see in a world full of opportunities. In our approach, we combine knowledge and proven practices in the field of building leadership potential with the practical aspects of using them. DESIGNING SOLUTIONS

For selected clients who are close to the approach that combines personal, common (people), planets and profit (profit), we provide services in the field of designing services and dedicated solutions. For this purpose, we use various methods and tools, including research, personal work with team leaders, workshop group work or project sprints (co-design sessions)

Co-design your palace was an incredible experience. Working inside the building, still under construction, that we were prototyping services for, was in itself of great value. A number of interventions and expert conferences, on and offsite, allowed us to capture local expertise and historical knowledge in spite of a tight schedule. This provided important context that inspired, educated and empowered us in our discovery and design journey. I specially enjoyed the opportunity to work with students form a different post-graduate discipline and the interactions and outcomes this collaboration provided

DESIGN SPRINTS

A 5-day design workshop dedicated to a specific challenge identified by the organization. The most common sprint is min. 30 hours of teamwork, including breaks and meals, involvement of an interdisciplinary team that has different insights and perspectives on the selected topic, a project process consisting in simplified time_8df6fbcc-43d3-3d99-a511-2d99_ , development of the solution and its prototyping along with testing.

For me (project sprint) this time was very valuable, among others due to the possibility of using Design Thinking in practice, the possibility of working in an international team, managing crises, finding common solutions, conducting discussions and developing solutions in a multicultural environment, where a great value is a different perception of the world, a set of experiences unavailable in a monocultural environment. I can honestly recommend participation in this type of project to anyone who has such an opportunity.

TRAINING AND WORKSHOPS

On behalf of the Center for the Development of Social Initiatives CRIS , I certify that the Stajnia Foundation provided training services for us in 2020-2022. Foundation representatives led
workshops on designing social innovations based on the Service Design methodology. Workshops were held in the form of stationary and on-line. The services provided by the Stajnia Foundation were characterized by: high quality, commitment, reliability and care for the needs of the participants. The way the workshops were conducted by the trainers, their contact with the group and their preparation were very well assessed by the participants. We recommend the Stajnia Foundation as a reliable contractor of training services.

For people and organizations interested in the specificity of revitalized areas, we organize study visits to the Palace in order to introduce our approach to socialized revitalization with the use of design methods.
